and 18 June 2006 - Shetland Blues Festival
ISLAND HOPPING....Hi folks - Back to reality now after a
crazy weekend in Shetland, and I thought I'd throw a few
words together to tell the tale. Check the diary page to
hear about all the antics. Meanwhile I'd like to thank all
of the organisers of the Shetland Blues Festival. In
particular, Mags and Jim who looked after us all weekend,
and John and Steve who came down to meet us on the boat, and
saw us off again with a dram in our bellies for good
luck.
Thanks to all who bought CDs, and all who came along to see
us over the weekend. We had a great time, and we'd love to
come back if we're invited. Meanwhile - watch this space for
more news on SAS. We've been writing and recording like mad
things, and we'd like to do some gigs at home in Orkney, and
maybe Glasgow before the end of the year, so do keep check
